The show's D&D: World of Warcraft campaign takes place during the reign of the Lich King, where the Alliance and Horde are battling the Scourge. The story of Dungeon Masters follows a Horde guild named "Afterlife", with five heroes in the guild trying to make a name for themselves:

Led by the guild leader, Rokkar, "Afterlife" had a former member steal their treasury and is now looking to rebuild their stature within the Horde by taking on quests, diving into dungeons, and navigating faction politics, with the ultimate goal of being sent to Northrend to campaign against the Lich King.

The World of Warcraft and Dungeons & Dragons teams recently announced D&D: World of Warcraft. This new sourcebook helps bring the world of Azeroth to the tabletop and includes complete rules for all thirteen classes, six new subclasses, new magic items, spells, monsters, factions, and dungeons.
There's also an additional Icecrown Citadel Map Pack for level 16 to 20 characters, which brings the iconic Icecrown Citadel raid to players, alongside new iconic items such as Frostmourne, Invincible, and more!
The Sourcebook, Icecrown Citadel Map Pack, and more are available for Pre-Order in the D&D shop. The D&D: World of Warcraft collection will release on November 17th, with early access beginning on November 3rd.
