European Road to BlizzCon Cosplay Contest

From October 3-4, the 2015 European Road to BlizzCon is headed to the O2 Arena in Prague, Czech Republic—and Blizzard eSports talents won’t be the only ones present at the event. While some of the best players in Europe battle it out in fierce competition, we’ll also be celebrating our cosplay community with a contest!

On Saturday, October 3, a photo booth with a professional photographer will be dedicated to cosplayers until 14:30, so pictures can be taken of your costumes using different backgrounds from our games. Diablo, World of Warcraft, StarCraft II, Heroes of the Storm and Overwatch characters are all welcome! Changing rooms will also be available so you can put on and adjust your costumes.

That afternoon, pictures of your costumes will be uploaded to a dedicated website, where viewers at the event and at home can vote for their favorites. On October 4, we’ll announce the winners and award some awesome prizes (see below)!

Blizzard cosplayers are known for their attention to detail, so we’ve got some amazing prizes to help you bring your creations to the next level!

If you’d like to participate in the contest, you first have to make sure you have a ticket to the event. Tickets are free and a new wave will be released in the coming days, so stay tuned!

Then head to Prague, and make sure to be inside the O2 Arena as early as possible on Saturday, October 3, as the contest should be closed to further submissions by 14:30.

Once your photo is in, you’re free to stick around and enjoy the event! The photo booth will remain available to the public throughout the weekend, so you can continue to take pictures. Of course, some intense Blizzard eSports action will take place in the arena, as well as StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void show matches. We’ll also have an Overwatch booth with the game playable on 120 PCs!
