This year’s DreamHack Winter in Jönköping, Sweden was absolutely huge, and we had a ton of fun attending the event, meeting players, showing our new games, organizing activities, and just generally hanging out with our awesome community.
This was possibly our biggest presence at DreamHack Winter yet, with three games at our booth available to play: Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft, World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor and Diablo III: Reaper of Souls.
We also had some really popular activities at our booth, including the full-size Hearthstone card photo frame. Anyone coming to get a pic in the frame could customize the card with their own mana, health, and attack figures, as well as unique card text, before striking a pose!
We brought along the powerful mage Jaina Proudmoore, aka Yami, who was keen to chat with those brave enough to approach her. She also helped out with our Sound-a-Like stage contest; you can check out a video here.
Many players on-site at DreamHack Winter and at home took part in our Hearthstone Scavenger Hunt. Visitors to our booth also came up with some fantastic designs in our “CardCraft” contest; take a look at the submissions.

The 2013 DreamHack Open tournament also concluded while we were at DreamHack Winter, and the StarCraft II competition was immense. Local lad NaNiwa put up a good fight, but eventually TaeJa went on to claim victory in the Grand Final against Life.
We’d like to give huge thanks to the thousands of people who attended DreamHack Winter and came to our booth, and also to those of you who watched from home and took part in our activities. We look forward to seeing you next year!
