The scaling damage buff in March of Quel'Danas started just over a month ago, and provides a scaling 1% damage and healing buff every week since its inception. This week, it provides a large 6% damage increase in all three of the Season 1 raids which is a pretty significant damage and healing increase. Each of the three raids has its own damage buff and its own quest to get said damage buff.
As crazy as this might sound, it's apparently semi-common that players who are working on Mythic March of Quel'Danas have not picked up their March of Quel'Danas raid buff, Might of the Sunwell Offensive. Asking multiple raid groups that were working on Mythic March of Quel'danas to check their raid has resulted in multiple guilds identifying players who had never picked up the raid buff. There are multiple possible reasons for this:
Many players skipped March of Quel'Danas Heroic and went straight into Mythic Voidspire and have not been back to pick up the buff since then.
After defeating Belo'ren, the quest giver for the buff disappears, so guilds who have been extending L'ura won't ever see the quest giver.
Forgetting that each raid has a different raid buff that needs to be obtained.
The buff only shows up inside the raid, so you can either check logs or zone in to March of Quel'Danas to see if you have it. If you recognize that you don't have the buff, make sure to take a trip to the beginning of the raid to talk to the quest giver. You do need a fresh instance, so if you've killed Mythic Belo'ren, zone in on a lower difficulty to pick it up and then you can leave. If you recognize that some of the raid members don't have it, kindly tell them they don't have it, as apparently this is a pretty common mistake.
You might want to check every Season 1 raid, but the most common issue seems to be in March of Quel'Danas. As a reminder, the buff is warband-wide, so once you've picked it up, it works for all your characters.
How to Determine in Logs
If you want to look and see who has the buff in your raid, find a log in March of Quel'Danas, go to the buff tab and search for the "Might of the Sunwell Offensive" buff. Each player who has the buff will have 100% uptime on this page, and any player missing the buff will not be present.
Mythic Raid should have 20 entries!
If you want to check the other raids, search for the Tenacity of the Shul'ka buff for Chimaerus and Singular Focus for Voidspire.
