Diablo 4 Season 10 PTR Launches With Sweeping List of Issues

The Diablo 4 Season 10 PTR is live today, and Blizzard has already identified over 20 issues for the patch, including to Classes and Seasonal Mechanics. The Test Realm is always a place filled with bugs, as it is not considered a stable version of the game, so issues are expected. Season 10 is looking to be a very interesting patch in general with all the variability in Chaos Armor and a rework to Infernal Hordes. With an expansion announcement on the horizon and plenty of content to test and experiment with, now is the perfect time to try out the test realm for yourself!

Welcome to the PTR known issues thread. This is a go-to resource for known issues you may experience while playing the PTR. The list below calls out issues we are aware of and intend to address by the official release of 2.4.0.

INFERNAL HORDES

While in pre-torment difficulties, consuming a compass while inside The Pit does not open the Infernal Hordes

Opening consecutive Fleeting Horde compasses does not reset the player’s aether amount

Certain Boons that affect aether amounts do not stack correctly with others

Some tooltips such as Corrupting Spires have incorrect descriptors

Chaos Rifts and various enemies may populate error messages in the chat log

Some council members may not cast their abilities correctly and have visual errors

Bartuc’s Fire Wave attack can hit in quick succession

Bartuc’s Laser Swipe attack does not hit in specific positions

CHAOS ARMOR

Both of Druid’s shapeshifted forms may have some visual issues with certain Chaos Armors equipped

CHAOS PERKS

Alter the Balance may cause visual issues with various skills.

Alter the Balance does not contribute to the active Bone Storm count for Necromancers equipped with Lidless Wall

Convocation of Spirits is causing unintended interactions with various passives that trigger on skills being cast.

HORADRIC STRONGROOMS

Sometimes, Season 9 reward buffs are granted when finishing a Horadric Strongroom

CLASSES

If a Barbarian has not learned the Warpath passive, then that passive will not contribute to the affix part of the Sabre of Tsasgal unique (and other similar Barbarian damage unique affixes such as those found on Hellhammer)

Rogue’s Rain of Arrows may not deal damage or cause knockdown

Rogue’s Shroud of False Death unique does not grant the proper amount of passive ranks.

Orphan Maker unique’s reload bonus is not granted to Rogue’s Shadow Clone.

Ravens’ skill damage deals incorrect damage when paired with Kilt of Blackwing unique and certain legendary aspects and boons.

Sorcerer’s “Serpentine” legendary aspect does not consume all mana.

Sorcerer’s Ball Lightning skill stops dealing damage with enough attack speed

Sorcerer’s Combustion Key Passive sometimes incorrectly calculates its bonus percentage

Spiritborn’s The Protector Ultimate skill fails to grant barrier when cast

Putting five ranks into Spiritborn’s The Devourer Ultimate skill doesn’t apply the extra damage based off the Healing Received bonus stat

MISC

Infernal Warp is unlisted in the Currencies section of Hero Details
