Delve Nemesis Hall of Fame Has Closed in NA and EU

Barely 14 hours since the launch of Season 1, more than 4,000 players have defeated Nullaeus and the Delve Nemesis Hall of Fame has closed in North America and now EU!

The Hall of Fame for Delves has also now closed in EU Realms, around 9 hours after launch

The first 4,000 players to defeat Nullaeus in each region are treated to a unique title and Feat of Strength.

This is the first time Blizzard has added special recognition for early victories over a delve nemesis. The Fabled Let Me Solo Him: Nullaeus Feat of Strength was initially revealed with a cap of only 1,000 players, later adjusted up to 10,000 during the Midnight Beta, before being reduced down to the current 4,000.

Even then, it was clear that this limited leaderboard could create problems, as some classes and specializations are invariably better suited for these types of challenges than others, not to mention those who are unable to log in and gear up quickly on the first day of season launch.

The regular title and mount are still awarded, but the special Famed Feat of Strength is not.

Unlike the Mythic raid Hall of Fame, which remains open until the following weekly reset in order to not disadvantage groups which raid later in the week, the Delve achievement closed immediately upon reaching 4,000 - confirmed by players who defeated the boss afterwards without receiving the Feat of Strength.

While Blizzard may not have anticipated the Hall of Fame closing so quickly, its hard to argue that it isn't a little unfair to players who got a late start, and perhaps future versions should be limited by time rather than an arbitrary number.

This is exactly how people who were stuck wiping at 1% feel.
