Manaforge Omega Nerfs in Pre-Patch
Cutting Edge: Dimensius, the All-Devouring will no longer be available in the Midnight Pre-Patch, and with the Pre-Patch Mythic Manaforge Omega appears to be getting some nerfs. These nerfs are likely to account for reduced healer power in Midnight, the disarmament of addons, the stat squish, and the general nerf to raids that comes with the Pre-Patch. If you are looking for the Mythic mount, these nerfs should make farming the Unbound Star-Eater mount easier.
These nerfs were datamined, and are subject to change at any time.
Global Nerfs
We are unable to confirm any enemy health changes due to uncertainty with the stat squish, and we'll update when we know more. However, we've datamined a global damage nerf, relative to HP pools.
All damage reduced by 40% (relative to HP pools).
With the upcoming stat squish in the Midnight Pre-Patch, players will go from ~17 million health when fully geared, to about ~155k health. Damage numbers are being reduced as well, but in Manaforge Omega they are being reduced by an extra 40%. This means that an attack that would currently hit you for 100% health, will now only deal 60% health. This change has likely been made for multiple reasons including healer power being reduced, the removal of computational addons, and general nerfing of the raid in the Pre-Patch.
Due to this, its unclear exactly how much of a nerf this is in reality due to healer power being weaker as well. However, one place that players will directly feel this change is with one-shot checks, as they may no longer be one-shot abilities; a lot of the unavoidable effects of 'defensive or die' will no longer occur in the Midnight Pre-Patch with current values. For example, Twilight Spikes on Nexus King will now be survivable from full health with a small defensive, and Starkiller Swing will deal less than 50% of your health directly now
Trash
These are the datamined nerfs to trash mobs in Manaforge Omega.
Shadowguard Harvester's Harvesting Slice is now categorized as a Bleed.
Shadowguard Technomancer's Arcing Mana damage reduced by 80%.
Soul Hunters
We've datamined nerfs to the two healing absorbs of the encounteron Mythic Soul Hunters.
Adarus' Consume healing absorb reduced by 12%
Ilyssa's Soulcrush healing absorb reduced by 10%
Fractillus
We've datamined nerfs to the burst damage of the Mythic mechanic, and also allowing more time for players to handle the wall building with the removal of computational addons.
Crystal Lacerations damage reduced by 61%
Shattershell damage per tick reduced by 40%, but now lasts 10 seconds (was 6)
Crystalline Shockwave probably lasts 10 seconds (was 7 seconds)*
*On live, the debuff for this is listed 10 seconds in spell data, but the tooltip says it lasts for 12 seconds, and the debuff actually lasts for 7 seconds. On Beta, the debuff has been increased to 14 seconds in spell data, the tooltip says it lasts for 12 seconds, so it's unknown exactly how long this will last on live. If we extrapolate on the same percentage increase as 10 -> 14, we do get ~10 seconds, hence the speculation.
Dimensius
Dimensius has received a nerf to burst damage in Phase 2 and 3, as well making it less punishing if someone goes to the wrong Black Holes during Devour in Phase 3.
Spatial Fragment duration reduced to 2 seconds (was 4 seconds)
Crushing Gravity damage reduced by 50%
Stellar Overload now triggers when 7 players in a Black Hole (was 6)
