Reddit User SimpleJoe1994 Reported on the WoW Classic subreddit that the damage reduction has been removed in Battlegrounds and player's health have been increased by 20%. This seems to be an accurate observation, as many players have noticed their damage numbers in battlegrounds are now matching the damage they deal in open world PvP. This is a change from the previous damage reduction in Battlegrounds, which we reported in December.
