Dalaran Recreated at 1:1 Scale for WoW: Forever Celebration in China

To celebrate all things Blizzard and WoW: Forever, a massive party was recently held in Shanghai, China, and players got to explore the iconic city of Dalaran in full-scale glory.

Starting October 16, a two-day extravaganza was held where players could not only socialize but also explore Dalaran, participate in quests, take advantage of photo opportunities, and have a chance to win prizes.

Exploring Dalaran was a huge draw for many, with faithfully recreated landmarks such as The Silver Enclave and Sunreaver's Sanctuary, the Antonidas Memorial in Runeweaver Square, the Dalaran Sewers (where players could experience the WoW: Forever beta), and even Mei Francis's shop with mounts on display!

While exploring, players were given wristbands to allow them to interact with checkpoints throughout the event. These checkpoints would allow players to go on quests to earn Dalaran Gold Coins, which could be redeemed for draws from chests. Some of the prizes included murloc-themed hats and toys, wax seal stamp sets, stickers, and even deluxe collectible sculptures! Additional merchandise was also available for purchase.

WoW: Forever's launch is rapidly closing in, and players can't wait - this event allowed people not only to experience Dalaran in-game, but for the first time ever, in real life as well.
