Blizzard, Where Is The Festive Housing Decor?

The Holidays are fast approaching, and decorations have gone up all around the world. For player housing, however, the Winter Veil Tree is missing. With the Winter Veil Tree datamined weeks ago, it stood to reason that holiday decor would become available before Christmas, but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. Christmas is just a few days away, Winter Veil is well underway in-game, but it remains unknown how to obtain the special tree.

Festive holiday decor would be a great addition to player housing. It could be used to celebrate everything from birthdays with special cakes to Christmas or even more regional holidays, such as the 4th of July, which could have outdoor fireworks. At the end of the day, if festive decorations are going to work, Blizzard needs to give players their decorations in advance, rather than after the fact, when all the festivities are already over.

Where is the Winter Veil Tree?
The most likely source for the tree is as a present under Greatfather Winter's tree, which can be opened starting December 25th. This does however make for a bit of an awkward timing, as players would be receiving holiday decorations after the holidays.

Some more outlandish ideas for the tree's drop source include it being part of the endeavour system or being added to a vendor via a hotfix, both of which seem unlikely given that Winter Veil Tree is named after Winter Veil.

Getting Creative for Christmas
Players instead have resorted to making their own trees, such as Reddit User Lexiconn, who spent a whole afternoon setting up a massive tree in their main room.

Lexiconn made sure to include all the details in their tree, including presents!
Sadly for players that aren't willing to spend hours making a tree from scratch, Blizzard has provided very little in the way of information regarding the Winter Veil Tree decor item.
