Blizzard Teases Warlock Class And Major Diablo 4 Overhaul

With the Diablo 30th Anniversary, Blizzard has announced that the second class coming with the Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred expansion is the Warlock! With metal chains and enslaved demons, the Warlock uses the very powers of hell against it, focusing on the forbidden knowledge the Horadrim dare not touch. While the spotlight itself was scarce on details, there will be a Warlock Developer Update on March 5th at 2 pm Pacific, with Blizzard covering all the details and going in depth into the new Diablo 4 class!

Unlike the traditional demon-summoning class or the pestilent Witch Doctor of Diablo 3, Warlocks in Diablo 4 are defined by metal chains, flames, and destructive power rather than the summoning itself. While shackling demons is still on the menu for the warlock lovers out there, the design direction is definitely skewing more towards imagery of fire and brimstone.
