At the 10.0 expansion reveal, Blizzard announced many big changes for professions, introducing the Crafting Orders system that also expands the ability to get Soulbound items that were once only available to the crafters themselves. Crafting specializations are also making a comeback to allow players to create higher-quality items.

Blizzard Clarifies Profession Revamp and Recrafting Details in Dragonflight
Blizzard has released several blue posts clearing up some details on the profession revamp coming in Dragonflight, as well as introducing the concept of Recrafting.
