Aggrend: With a hotfix tomorrow we will no longer be dynamically retiring layers. This means that late at night or early in the morning there will be more layers than are needed and the world may feel more empty.

Battle for Ashenvale Updates December 16 – Season of Discovery
Blizzard has made an additional change to Layers regarding Battle for Ashenvale in Season of Discovery, this time re-enabling the auto retire feature of Layers. This should help the progression rate of the next event start during offpeak hours.
