Ban Wave Catches Raid Mid-Rotmire Pull – Possible 6 Month Ban

Blizzard appears to have sent out a major ban wave, which has caught several eastern European guilds, purportedly in a crackdown of real money transaction sales. Some of them were even unlucky enough to be caught by the ban on stream, with a Rotmire pick-up-group losing ~80% of its players mid pull!

Sadly the clip has been deleted.

Reports within the raid leader Discord server have confirmed that players within several guilds including were affected. Further reports suggest that additional Russian, Iranian, and middle eastern guilds may have been hit as well with some players indicating that the ban was 6 months long.
