Running from August 14th to September 11th, the event is another gatcha-style paid mystery box, which is common on Chinese servers. Spending money earns treasure points, which are in turn used to draw mystery boxes, working through the various prizes on a knockout list. The prizes themselves are very interesting though, including a special function mount and some adorable pets.
Frostshell Walker (Midnight and Classic mount)
This ground-only mount grants 100% increased swimming speed and comes in two versions. On retail, it carries a Tuskarr NPC, who will give the owner 10 Tide-Oath Augment Runes per day.
These runes provide primary stat for one hour, comparable with the Void-Touched Augment Rune, though the two do not stack.
They are only available to the mount owner, and follow similar rules to other conjured items.
The Classic version of the mount also carries a Tuskarr NPC, but instead of granting augment runes, they will teleport the owner to a specific capital city every 30 minutes. This teleport is functions just like a Hearthstone, but has its own independent cooldown.
On Mists of Pandaria Classic servers, it will transport players to the Shrine of the Seven Stars/Two Moons.
On Titan Reforged Time servers, it will transport players to Dalaran.
