Blizzard has announced that Cataclysm Classic will receive the Auction House Update with Maintenance on February 17th. These changes are broad and will look more like the Auction House available in The War Within in form and function. The most significant impact this update will bring is when buying stacks of items such as cloth, as players can now type a quantity into the window they wish to purchase instead of buying stacks of 20 at a time.
