All Dungeon Buffs in Midnight Season 2 Dungeons

There are many party-wide buffs hidden in the Midnight Season 2 dungeons that you can take advantage of to make your keys just a little easier.

Midnight Season 2 Mythic+ Overview

Altar of Fangs
This dungeon buff is available to any players who have 25 Skill level in Midnight Alchemy or Midnight Cooking. After you defeat The Writhing Coil, head up the stairs to where you fight the required Ascendant Serpent mini-boss.

In the top left corner of this room, there is an Unfinished Mixture next to some serpent eggs. Have a player in your group with one of the required professions interact with the mixture. This gives everyone in the party a buff called Mutating Elixir, increasing your Versatility stat by 3%!

The buff lasts for the remainder of the dungeon and persists through death, making it great for the long hallway of trash plus Zul'jan's boss fight. It's just like Mark of the Wild, but with no Druid required!

Voidscar Arena
Voidscar Arena grants a stat buff depending on what mini-boss you defeat at the start of the dungeon.

The dungeon path immediately splits into two leading up to the first boss, with each path having a mini-boss at the end that you must defeat to progress further. The left-side path leads you to Aegyra the Unyielding, while the right-side path leads you to Raj'kess the Spellstorm. Upon defeat, each mini-boss grants a stat buff that lasts the remainder of the dungeon.

Each mini-boss grants a party-wide stat buff upon defeat.

Defeating Raj'kess grants Proof of Mastery, increasing your Mastery stat, while Aegyra grants Proof of Endurance, increasing your Versatility stat. You cannot receive both buffs, so which side you choose largely depends on what stat your group prefers. Mastery in general provides a more offensive bonus; however, Versatility provides a comfy defensive boost.

Murder Row
Before the first boss of Murder Row, players must interrogate four Row Snitches to open up the path to the boss. In the building with the first snitch on the right, players can find a glowing Faceted Crystalline Fel crystal.

Pay close attention when looking for these crystals!

The vendors of Murder Row have a particular interest in these crystals, willing to trade you powerful items in exchange for one. There are many different vendors, each offering a unique Extra Action item:

Darlia - Heartstop Blade: Strike with a poisoned blade, reducing the victim's maximum health by 30% and stunning them for 6 sec. 3 charges. Ineffective on creatures that are a higher level than you.

Feranin - Felwyrm Egg: Summons a fel-infused mana wyrm to strike at your enemies and empower you with destructive energy, increasing your haste by 15% for 30 sec.

Vinemaster Suntouched - Suntouched Special Reserve: Drink the brew, increasing damage and healing by 2% for 30 sec. This effect stacks. Be careful not to drink too much, or you will unleash misery upon yourself and those around you.

Sleyin - Concealed Pistol: Fires a quick shot at the target, inflicting Physical damage to all enemies it passes through and additional Bleed damage every 2 sec for 16 sec. While bleeding, enemies take 20% increased damage.

These items can be used at any time throughout the dungeon, but can only be purchased once, meaning no stacking the same item. As a general recommendation, the Concealed Pistol offers the most group-wide benefit, giving a massive damage amp when used.

Den of Nalorakk
The first dungeon buff in Den of Nalorakk is available to any players who have 25 Skill level in Midnight Alchemy or Bear Form Druids. Before the ramp leading up to The Hoardmonger, you will find a Warding Incense off to the right side in front of the large bear statue.

Lighting the incense gives everyone in the party the Warding Incense buff, increasing your Versatility by 5% for 10 minutes. The buff lasts through death, giving your party a nice boost before fighting the first boss of the dungeon.

Warding Incense

The other buff is available to Night Elves, Trolls, and Bear Form Druids. In the portion of the dungeon with the Harsh Winds, there is a bag of Snowworn Provisions hugging the right-side path.

Players who can interact with the sigil inside the bag grant their party the Rune of Anchoring buff, which decreases movement forces by 50% for 15 minutes. This buff weakens pushback effects from the Harsh Winds and the Frozen Tempest mechanic during the Sentinel of Winter boss fight. Plus, the buff lasts through death, making it a nice pickup.

Snowworn Provisions

It is worth mentioning that many Mythic+ dungeon routes currently prefer following the left-side path during the Harsh Winds portion, largely because there's less trash that can accidentally pull. What path you choose entirely depends on your group and Keystone level. In other words, do what is most comfortable for your group.

The Blinding Vale
The Blinding Vale has two buffs available, but only one can be accessed depending on which route you take at the start of the dungeon.

Taking the left-side path leads you to a Light-Starved Blossom, located on a small outlook just before the Lightblossom Trinity boss fight. This buff is available to players who have 25 Skill level in Midnight Herbalism, Paladins, or Priests. Interacting with the blossom grants the Flourishing Stride buff, increasing movement speed by 20% and Haste by 5% for 2 minutes.

Light-Starved Blossom

Taking the right-side path leads you to a Baby Grovecrawler who is trapped under some vines and needs your help. Hunters and Druids are able to free the Grovecrawler, causing it to aid you in combat for the next minute.

The Grovecrawler will occasionally debuff your target with Spine Shot, increasing their damage taken by 1%, stacking up to 5 times. Because the Grovecrawler only sticks around for a minute, it is recommended to free the baby just before starting the Ikuzz the Light Hunter boss fight.
