Blizzard announced WoW Classic Season of Discovery at Blizzcon 2023, revealing that the new season will have a Rune Engraving mechanic unlocked from Discoveries that will enable new Roles for certain classes! For example, Warlocks will be able to tank thanks to their new Metamoprhosis Rune!
