These mounts can be purchased from the Used Yak Salesgrummle, Uncle Bigpocket, who can be found at The Grummle Bazaar in Kun-Lai Summit, to the east of One Keg. There are no reputation or quest requirements.

If you ever want to spruce up your yak, there's a neat little easter egg at the Yak Wash in The Yaungol Advance; running through the building while mounted will clean it!
