8 Hour Extended WoW Maintenance on Tuesday, March 12th

Blizzard has announced an extended 8 hour maintenance for Retail WoW on Tuesday, March 12th from 7:00 AM PDT to 3:00 PM PDT. Could this mean anything?

An 8 hour maintenance is an atypical maintenance these days but players are anxiously waiting for any news of a Patch 10.2.6 release date. Is Blizzard stealth dropping Patch 10.2.6 next Tuesday, or are they prepping their servers for whenever Patch 10.2.6 does launch?
