Diablo II: Resurrected Releases on September 23rd, Pre-Order Beta in August

During today's livestream of the all-digital Summer Game Fest expo, Blizzard officially announced that Diablo II: Resurrected will release on September 23, 2021.

In addition to the release announcement, Diablo's Community Development Lead Adam Fletcher confirmed that the Beta would be in August and include multiplayer testing, while Senior Global PR Manager Maxim Samoylenko reiterated that pre-ordering would grant access to the beta.

We have some weapon models from Diablo II: Resurrected. In this post, the theme is long and pointy, or heavy and blunt.

Spears & Polearms

Spears and Polearms are both, essentially, "pointy sticks", but we like that trident spears work for the potential Mer look while the scythe polearms are more suited for the Grim Reaper.

Diablo 4 Test Build Added to Playstation Store for Both PS4 and PS5

Diablo 4 has been discovered on the Playstation Store, with a headings for both Playstation 4 and Playstation 5. Using the code name Oberon and content-id “WELOOOOVEDOGS”, the 44GB set of flies appears to be split into a 20GB PS4 and 23GB PS5 download, which would be rather small for a new AAA Blizzard game.

Swords

Swords are melee weapons that can be one-handed - which opens up the other hand to wield an off-hand if required - or two-handed.

Shields

Shields are off-hand armor items that can be used to block attacks, though some classes are better at blocking than others.
