Profession crafted gear has been pretty underutilized so far in Shadowlands, though the Crafter's Mark of the Chained Isle added in patch 9.1 PTR may help change that. This new series of optional reagents allow players to craft profession gear as high as item level 230, roughly on par with Normal mode Sanctum of Domination raid gear.
