Hallow's End has some neighborhood activity updates, with daily quests and three neighborhood themes. It looks like Winter Veil might be the same, as in the latest Patch 12.1.7 PTR build, we've datamined new achievements that reference a "Tree Defense" activity in the neighborhood.
The Tree Defense appears to have power-ups, something called a Rotten Pummeler, the ability to punt tree attackers, and tasks players with returning presents. There also might be new daily quests that include carolers and delivering Candy Cane gifts to players.
NEW Join in with the neighborhood carolers by successfully ringing your bells.
NEW Deliver 12 Candy Cane gifts within the housing neighborhoods.
Use a power-up 3 times in the tree defense activity.

NEW Get pummeled 10 times by a Rotten Pummeler during the neighborhood tree defense activity.
NEW Punt 100 tree attackers duing the neighborhood tree defense activity.
NEW Return Stolen Festive Presents to the neighborhood tree during the tree defense activitiy.
NEW Complete the neighborhood tree defense activity.
This looks like an exciting update to the neighborhood to help celebrate the Holiday season. We have datamined many new Winter Veil rewards that will probably be available as well!
