Season 1 Activity Rewards Updated for Season 2

In the most recent Patch 12.1 PTR build, the rewards from Ritual Sites, Void Assaults, Invasions, and their caches have been updated for Season 2.

Void-Touched Caches
While these changes increase the item level of the various gear earned from these activities to keep up with the increased power inflation in Season 2, they aren't quite as rewarding as they were in Season 1. The lower-level cache now awards Adventurer-track gear, while the higher tier of new Cache of Void-Touched Armaments caches only go up to Veteran.

Costs remain the same at 500 Field Accolade for random pieces or 750 for targeted slots.

The Veteran-track upgrades to 295 item level, so these caches may still be a decent entry-point for new characters, but will otherwise quickly fall behind what is available from higher-tier Delves, Mythic+, and raid content.

Ritual Sites
Ritual Sites remain a good way to farm Field Accolades, but are now comparable to Tier 1-6 Delves, awarding up to Veteran Mistcrest and the same track in the Great Vault... which is to say, not particularly worth prioritizing.

Tier 6 Ritual Site rewards in Patch 12.1.

The Advanced Ritual Studies quests no longer award Nebulous Voidcore bonus rolls either, though they can still be completed for achievements.

Naigtal and Val
Like Ritual Sites, Heroic difficulty Invasions remain a good source of Field Accolades, but the gear and crests have been similarly reduced. Rare and Elite mobs now drop Adventurer Mistcrest, while their warbound gear has been reduced to Adventurer-track gear at 275 item level. Likewise, the Riftstalker's Overflowing Cache awarded from completing the weekly Showdown quest now awards Adventurer and Veteran crests, despite the tooltip still referencing Myth Dawncrests.

Remember that Field Accolades can still be spent on a variety of cosmetic gear for your collections.

The world bosses and one-time epic gear quest have not been updated, continuing to award Season 1 gear. As a result, expect to see a lot less players in these areas, which may make them a little more challenging, though the increased item levels of Season 2 will reverse that over time, so completionists and achievement hunters should not find them inaccessible.

Void Assaults
Perhaps now the least rewarding content, Void Strikes, Void Incursions, and their weekly quest now award Adventurer Mistcrest crests, though their achievements can still be completed.
