What is Project Camelot?
While Blizzard has not given any hints about Phase 3's release date, the roadmap, originally shared at the State of Azeroth presentation earlier this year, indicates that Phase 3 will be released this summer. Distinctly, The Black Temple content phase is expected to release sometime before BlizzCon, which is scheduled for September 12th.
One Reddit user, named ozzy_roy, has built a reputation with their highly accurate predictions of when certain content Phases will release. Their model is based on the previous release cadences for these Phases and also accounts for the accelerated content cadence on Anniversary servers. Recently, they shared their most recent prediction for when Phase 3 will release.
While Phases in Classic Anniversary tended to release around 30% faster than in 2019 Classic, The Burning Crusade Anniversary has only been accelerated by 7.55% so far, meaning we could be in for a much longer TBC than previously expected. While September 3rd may seem like a long wait, many believe that Phase 3 could release as early as mid-August.
