Help Hatch Jan’alai’s New Eggs on the Patch 12.0.7 PTR

A new local story now available on the Patch 12.0.7 PTR gives players a glimpse into result of their efforts to return the loa to their rightful place within Zul'Aman, as the dragonhawk Loa of Fire prepares to hatch a new clutch of eggs.

With the return of Jan’alai, Loa of Fire comes a return to past traditions. She’s ready to bring a new clutch of eggs into the world but Loa Speaker Brek requires assistance with the ceremony and with ensuring all the Loa’s young are released safely from their eggs. Be a part of welcoming the first of her offspring and protecting them as they take their first steps.

Although this may sound like a new activity similar to Dragonflight's Little Scales Daycare, it's really a much shorter questing opportunity for world building, that gives players a glimpse into the result of their efforts to help the loa return to their rightful place within Zul'Aman. In this case, the recently reborn dragonhawk Loa of Fire is ready to bring a new clutch of eggs into the world, and Loa Speaker Brek is asking for our help.

What follows is a cute but simple quest chain beginning with It Takes Two, assisting the Loa Speaker and his niece with hatching the eggs. Following up on the baby dragonhawks, who have become independent surprisingly quickly, then results in one named Emberlyn ultimately deciding to follow us on our future adventures! The whole chain only takes a few minutes, though is rich with story and dialogue, which is satisfying to see in a game that doesn't always follow up on the local impact of our interference within the wider game world.

They grow up so fast... seriously, it was just born five minutes ago!
