Midnight Patch 12.0.5 OverviewUsing the Voidforge
This week, Decimus will task players with completing An Elementary Voidcore one more time, before finally unlocking the Voidforge. While Nebulous Voidcore bonus rolls immediately become available, players still have some work to do before earning Ascendant Voidcore upgrades.
A new quest called New Tools, New Heights will again require players to complete more Mythic+ dungeons, Bountiful Delves, or raid bosses in order to catalyze our newly acquired Hungering Oblivium into the nascent Ascendant Nilhammer. Once again, this looks to be a multi-week quest, with the tooltips indicating that we'll have to complete this objective four times over the coming weeks before making any item level upgrades.
Essentially, we're tasked with completing three activities to catalyze our Oblivium, repeating four times.
Once completed, we get a new tracker showing our progress.
Once it is finally unlocked, the Ascendant Voidcores can be used to upgrade a Hero, Myth, or crafted weapons and trinkets. For now though, we'll simply have to wait.
6/6 Hero-track weapons or trinkets will gain +9 item levels, bringing them to 285.
6/6 Myth-track weapons or trinkets will gain +9 item levels, bringing them to 298.
Max quality crafted weapons or trinkets will gain +10 item levels, bringing them to 282 or 295.
