Complete Any Three Vault Slots to Guarantee an Extra Myth-Track Bonus Roll

With Patch 12.0.5 releasing this week, there's a a new way for players guarantee a piece of Mythic loot from the weekly vault by completing three vault activities of any combination or difficulty, perfect for players short on time!

Voidforge

Bonus rolling a M+10 dungeon awards a 272 item level piece of gear from that specific loot table, equivalent to what you'd get from the vault anyway.

While dedicated players and mains are likely to fill their vault with higher level activities anyway, this is a very useful and relatively low-effort strategy for alts and other underplayed characters, since it doesn't actually matter what activity you do or what level you complete it at. Simply filling any combination of three vault slot activities will earn enough Thalassian Token of Merit to purchase an extra Nebulous Voidcore, which does not count against the normal weekly cap.

Defeat 6 LFR raid bosses.

Complete 8 Timewalking, Heroic, or Mythic dungeons of any key level.

Finish 8 T1 Delves, Prey Hunts, or other world activities.

Defeat two raid bosses, complete 1 dungeon, and finish one hunt.

or any other combination.

No matter what actual items are found in your vault, you'll be able to take 6x tokens and exchange them for an extra Nebulous Voidcore bonus roll, which can be used after completing a Mythic+10 dungeon of your choice to help target farm the Myth-track item you really want instead.

Players can use Nebulous Voidcores to more easily obtain specific equipment whether they’re chasing best-in-slot items on their main character or looking to quickly gear up their alts later in the season.

Upon defeating a Midnight Season 1 raid boss or completing a Mythic+ Dungeon, Bountiful Delve, or Prey Hunt on Nightmare difficulty, players may choose to spend their Nebulous Voidcores to receive a random item appropriate for their Loot Specialization from that activity. After receiving an item in this way, it is removed from that loot pool until all eligible items have been obtained on a per-difficulty basis. For example, receiving the Ranger-Captain’s Iridescent Insignia trinket from the Crown of the Cosmos encounter in the Voidspire on Normal difficulty will not remove it from consideration on Heroic or Mythic difficulty. The item level of Mythic+ rewards from Nebulous Voidcores is equivalent to Great Vault rewards from that Keystone level, i.e., Myth 1/6 at Keystone level +10 and above.

Players can also purchase a Nebulous Voidcore from Vaultkeeper Elysa for six Thalassian Tokens of Merit. Nebulous Voidcores acquired in this way do not count against the weekly increasing cap.

Even if you fill out the vault with high level activities, there's no guarantee you'll actually want the items contained within.
