What was supposed to be a fairly lucrative week for delving, the continued Rank 4 hard cap on Journey progress has put a major damper on Delves in the second week of Season 1.

Delve Journey Still Capped at Rank 4
For the second week in a row, Delver's Journey Progress remains hard capped at Rank 4. It may have initially made sense to cap progress in week 1 as some of the later Journey ranks can be quite lucrative for additional gear drops and warbound equipment.

However, with the Season in full swing with Mythic raids and Mythic+ now available, capping Journey progress at such a low rank has led to significant frustration. Many players sought to grind out major Journey progress alongside the Delve Bonus Event, but were immediately stopped in pursuit of their goal.

It's unclear whether this continued Rank 4 cap is intended or a just an oversight, but the lack of communication about the Journey schedules and the timing of the Delve Bonus Event has amped up frustration. Season 3 of the War Within had similar issues with Journey bugs and timegating, and it seems the lessons of those issues has not quite been learned.

Combine this with players needing to recomplete the Prey Rank 4 quests this week due to recent hotfixes, and it's left a feeling that casual content has been a bit neglected. If there's going to be timegating or capping of content, then that information needs to be included in content release schedules to temper player expectations.

Were you hoping to grind out the Delver's Journey this week with the increased progress gains from the event? Should there be more communication on Journey caps in Season 1 and beyond?
