Found in the lower left corner of the app, or in the Quests section of the Direct Messages panel, most of Discord's tasks ask users to stream their gameplay for a certain amount of time, but this one simply requires watching the Midnight trailer. Lasting just over a minute, most of us have probably already seen it by now, but its a very quick and low effort way to earn a handful of Discord's virtual Orb currency.
Good question...
Redeemable for perks like Nitro, profile effects, and badges, Discord Orbs are a virtual currency earned exclusively by completing quests, redeemable for perks like Nitro, profile effects, and badges. While 700 orbs won't exactly get you much, there's no cost, no premium real-money purchase, and you can simply save them until another easy to complete quest comes along. There are quite a few to choose from, including six other similar video quests, so you should be able to acquire enough Orbs to get at least a few days of Nitro in less than ten minutes time.
You're not going to get much with just 700 Orbs, but they may help you get something eventually!
Discord has been under fire recently for announcing new age verification requirements coming this March, in which some users will be required to submit face or ID scans in order to access the full range of communities and servers, otherwise being locked into a "teen-appropriate experience." While spokespeople have urged that most existing adult users will be able to bypass this requirement using a new "age inference system" to automatically determine whether they're already adults, it has left users and critics alike skeptical and on edge.... resulting in an overwhelming surge of new users for competitor TeamSpeak instead. Despite this upcoming uncertainty, however, Discord currently remains the foremost platform for World of Warcraft communities, with Blizzard also looking to expand their presence through the World of Warcraft Ambassador's Program, launching on February 26th.
