Population Density Adjustments Coming to The Burning Crusade Anniversary Servers

Blizzard has announced that they are making configuration changes that will help zones feel less cramped on The Burning Crusade Anniversary servers. This should allow players to more easily find quest objectives and gathering nodes out in the open world. This change will go live after the 1-hour maintenance, scheduled for February 13th.

1-Hour Maintenance February 13th

Over the last couple of days, we’ve seen a lot of feedback from players that in many cases, there are too many others nearby when you’re questing or doing gathering professions in the open world.

Today, we’ve developed some configuration changes that should hopefully reduce the congestion while retaining the feeling that the world is still well-populated. Those changes will go live during our currently scheduled realm restarts in a few hours.

We’ll continue to keep a close eye on this going forward, and we’ll adjust things further if necessary.

Thank you!
