Owning a House in the Opposite Faction's Neighborhood
Though each faction will only be limited to choosing houses in their respective faction's neighborhood, this does not mean owning a house in the opposite neighborhood is entirely impossible. Let's jump into how this is possible.
Let's say you're a Horde faction player looking to own a House in an Alliance neighborhood. Start out by making an entirely new character of the opposite faction, in this case Alliance.
Complete the Exile's Reach boat tutorial, where you will then receive the option to begin the Housing Tutorial. Once the Alliance character has purchased a home in their neighborhood, your characters from either faction are free to visit it and decorate it freely!
Both Faction Neighborhoods have TONS of beautiful plots to choose from!
The boat portion of the tutorial takes less than five minutes to complete. There's no need to sink a bunch of time leveling a character, just complete a handful of simple combat quests and you're done!
