On the Midnight Alpha, we've datamined the new Tier Tokens for Season 1. While these tokens still use the normal naming convention (Dreadful, Mystic, Venerated, Zenith), the listed classes is different and it includes a brand new identifier -- the armor type: Dreadful Adjective Thing (Cloth), Mystic Adjective Thing (Leather), Venerated Adjective Thing (Mail), Zenith Adjective Thing (Plate).
Therefore, we can assume that the armor type will be how Tier set tokens will be sorted in Midnight! This is subject to change, especially since the Zenith (Plate) one is not updated yet, but this seems to spread out the popularity of the classes slightly more when Mystic was usually the dominated one as Mage, Hunter, Druid.
Dreadful (Cloth): Priest, Mage, Warlock
Mystic (Leather): Rogue, Monk, Druid, Demon Hunter
Venerated (Mail): Hunter, Shaman, Evoker
Zenith (Plate): Warrior, Rogue, Monk, Evoker
Realistically should be Warrior, Paladin, Death Knight
