How to Earn a Crateful of Puppies & Other Toys From Kun-Lai Summit – Mists of Pandaria Classic

Kun-Lai Summit is filled with interesting lore and unique items that range from beneficial, like Rod of Ambershaping, to downright silly, like the Shard of Archstone. Here's how you can collect them all!

Treasures, Mounts, & Rares of Kun-Lai Summit

In your travels across Pandaria, you have surely found the occasional Rare spawn. Most of them drop gear (that may or may not be useful as you're leveling up) and have a chance to drop a unique item. Here's some of what you can find in Kun-Lai Summit:

Pandaren Firework Launcher

Ahone the Wanderer drops Pandaren Firework Launcher - Fireworks, while not particularly exciting on their own, can really dazzle all around you when it's time to take a cool screenshot.

Farwater Conch

Zai the Outcast drops Farwater Conch - Useful for explorers and casual PvPers alike, the Conch can be an invaluable scouting tool in unrated battlegrounds or to find secluded or out-of-bounds corners of the world.

Shard of Archstone

Havak drops Shard of Archstone - The shard on its own seems more like a novelty item (given that it requires you to be out of combat to use it), but it can be combined with items like Salyin Battle Banner from Valley of the Four Winds to great effect.

Hardened Shell

Nessos the Oracle drops Hardened Shell - This Rare shell can keep your PvP opponents exactly where you want them. No more, they'll fly away after dropping combat, hoping to escape your wrath!

Rod of Ambershaping

Ski'thik drops Rod of Ambershaping - This item is invaluable as an additional (albeit limited) source of crowd control for difficult areas and endgame activities like Challenge Mode or Celestial dungeons, and may come in clutch in tough scenarios.

Crate of Kidnapped Puppies

Borginn Darkfist drops Crate of Kidnapped Puppies - The only thing better than rescuing puppies is unleashing them on the mean Mogu that dared to put them in a crate. What this trinket lacks in power, it makes up for in adorableness.

Forager's Gloves

Korda Torros drops Forager's Gloves - No self-respecting herbalist leaves home without these gloves (except maybe for the Tauren; it provides no tangible benefit to them).

Hozen Peace Pipe

Scritch drops Hozen Peace Pipe - A good way to make friends and influence people is, apparently, to loot this from an angry Hozen. This is the only consumable item on the list. On the plus side, if you don't need the reputation, you can sell it at the AH for a nice chunk of change.
