Rank 2 unlocks additional rewards for defeating Loom'ithar each week.
Earlier this week, raiders began venturing into Manaforge Omega only to find that some players were reaching renown level 2 while others inexplicably stopped earning reputation at rank 1. It's unknown exactly what caused this deviance, but Blizzard appears to have taken notice, as those players have since been bumped up to rank 2, unlocking Head Hunting: Loom'ithar.
Unlocked upon reaching Renown 2, the quest allows players to purchase matching cloak appearances for each class tier set.
Completing the quest will allow players to earn Loombeast Silk, which can be traded to Ba'choso for tier set cloak appearances for each class, compensating for the lack of cloak drops while using the Reshii Wraps throughout Patch 11.2.
Ba'choso can be found just outside the Manaforge Omega raid entrance, near the Shadow Point phase conduit.
Presumably done to put players back on an even playing field, we still expect only one level of renown to be earned per week going forward. Please also be aware that the very short Meet the Vandals quest must be completed outside the raid entrance before the Manaforge Vandals renown track can be accessed, though players will still earn reputation even if they have not yet done so.
