Warcraft franchise General Manager John Hight has released a statement to Chinese players regarding the end of Blizzard Entertainment's licensing agreement with NetEase and upcoming shutdown of Blizzard games services in China on January 23rd. In it, he expresses a plan to freeze Chinese character information, keeping their progress, equipment, and history intact while searching for a new distribution partner to take over game services.
