Due to technical issues that prevented us from properly receiving Holiday Fan Art Calendar Contest submissions from Europe and Korea, we have extended the deadline for all entries until 11:59 PM PST, March 15. Players in every participating region will now have until this date to submit their original holiday-inspired, Warcraft-themed artwork for a chance to see their piece appear in the 2011 Official World of Warcraft Calendar! Check out the official rules or visit the contest website for more information.

Important note for all European and Korean participants: If you have already submitted artwork for this contest please make sure to visit the contest site and resubmit your artwork.

Week three of the Printwarcraft.com custom poster contest has come to an end, and after thousands of entries, we’ve chosen our third winner, Severedsoul of Spinebreaker. Be sure to check out the week three winner’s entry, as well as some other great entries here in the gallery.

Week four has just concluded, and we will announce the next round of winners out soon. This week we’ll be choosing one entry each as our grand prize, second place, and third place winners for even more prizes. Find out more on our contest page.

Thanks to the combined effort of Warcraft players from around the world, we have reached twenty thousand submissions, and the final piece of the World of Warcraft BattleCry Mosaic has been revealed. Head over to the World of Warcraft anniversary site now and check out the complete mosaic, which can only be described by one word: epic.

You can now look at the complete mosaic using the site’s mosaic viewer, download the original artwork wallpaper, and of course view the legendary-sized mosaic wallpaper. And while you’re there, make sure to also check out all the previously unlocked content.

The World Championship of the fourth Intel Extreme Masters (Electronic Sports League) in World of Warcraft 3v3 Arena will be held on March 2-4 at CeBIT in Hannover, Germany.

Twelve international teams will show lots of thrilling action while competing for an overall prize pool of $50,000.
