Midsummer Fire Festival Now Live on Burning Crusade Classic

The Midsummer Fire Festival is live on Burning Crusade Classic realms! The event allows for players to collect Burning Blossoms, which can be exchanged for cosmetic rewards. In addition, the Ahune encounter is now live in Slave Pens.

Burning Crusade Classic Realm Consolidation Coming August 9

Blizzard has announced that 22 Burning Crusade Classic realms will be retired, consolidating the players from those realms to other higher population realms.

Blizzard has decided to block transfers to Firemaw and disable character creation on the realm, if the player does not already have characters there. This update comes a few days following a Blue Post where Blizzard explained that Firemaw was the largest World of Warcraft realm, reminding players that there are free transfers to other less populated realms.

Warcraft Logs Analysis Tier 6 Burning Crusade Classic – End of Phase Wrap-Up

With the final phase of Burning Crusade Classic finally in our hands, we can look back at class performance in the penultimate raid tier of the expansion, Black Temple and Hyjal. Weather on Isle of Quel’Danas Tied to Progression on Burning Crusade Classic

Blizzard has shared some insight regarding the weather effects on the Isle of Quel'Danas, explaining that rain is tied to progress in the Battle for Sun's Reach.

Interestingly enough, this is actually authentic behavior and is working as intended. When the Isle progresses to a certain point via daily quest completions, the weather will begin to improve.
