New Crafted Eligible Legendaries Get Free Socket at Runecarver in Patch 9.1 – Upgraded Legendaries Do Not
We've now confirmed that only brand new crafted Legendaries will receive a socket (if eligible) at the Runecarver on the 9.1 PTR. If you upgrade a non-socketed Legendary, it will not receive a free socket.
