Student Fodder Doesn’t Give Rested Experience in WoW: Forever

Season of Discovery's Sleeping Bag quest chain makes a return in WoW: Forever. One of the rewards from the quest chain, Student Fodder, would give players four bars of rested experience. In WoW: Forever, though, this buff has been removed and replaced with new effects.

How To Get The Sleeping Bag In WoW: Forever

The Student Fodder's buff in WoW Forever will still instantly heal and replenish a portion of your class's resource bar, but now it also applies Trail Snack, a 60% speed boost for .75 seconds. The base buff, Trail Snack, now also heals the player over time for 175 per tick as well.

It could be assumed that the removal of the rested experience buff comes with the fact that we have, so far, three other ways to increase leveling speed for players. When players rest at a campfire, they'll be granted one bar of rested experience that you can get every hour, almost all new food buffs provide a 5% experience buff, and the Cozy Sleeping Bag itself grants players up to a +3% experience buff for an hour. On top of that, Legacy talents will also make leveling easier for alts, so perhaps SoD's Student Fodder would be seen as too much for expediting the leveling journey.
