Midnight Season 2 Mythic+ Overview
Keystone Myth was a brand new achievement added in Midnight Season 1 to incentivize players to push higher keystones in Mythic+. While Midnight Keystone Myth: Season 1 required 3,400 score, Season 2 now requires 3,600 score. This means that players will need more than half the dungeons on an +18, on average, compared to the flat +16s of last season.
Blizzard also mentions that dungeon tuning is coming to address problem points in the current dungeon pool.
While the rewards haven't been explicitly mentioned, the reward will likely be the same as Season 1 of a Timelost Saddle due to it being listed in the tooltip. This allows you to choose a mount from a list.
Demonstrate Your Mastery with Season 2’s Keystone Myth
Test your Mythic+ skills when Keystone Myth returns in the Midnight 12.1.5 content update. In Season 2, the Unbinding of Kith’ix raid and Labyrinth of Kindo’jan offer new ways to strengthen your character, take on higher Keystones, and earn the "Midnight Keystone Myth: Season 2" achievement by reaching a Mythic+ rating of 3600.
The goal with Keystone Myth is to offer a meaningful challenge during the second half of each season, with a rating requirement that reflects dungeon difficulty and gear progression. For Season 2, we’ve considered both current rating data and the rewards still to come. When Keystone Myth returns in 12.1.5, we’ll also make targeted dungeon tuning adjustments to address difficulty outliers.
