The Twin Fangs
Rextroy is well-known for finding some clever use of game mechanics or bugs, and then doing something crazy with it and releasing a YouTube video. Before he releases his YouTube video, he reports the bugs to Blizzard and gets them fixed.
In his latest video, Rextroy manages to find a way to solo the Twin Fangs in the Venomous Abyss. This is an impressive feat, as it's a current tier raid boss.
Rextroy had to overcome one major challenge to solo the Twin Fangs: How to survive the many stacks of Eternal Venom. Many unavoidable mechanics in this encounter grant Eternal Venom, and after acquiring too many stacks, it will stun the target. This is a problem when solo, as there are many sources of stacks, and if they're all condensed onto one person, they'll always be stunned.
Rextroy figured out that the majority of mechanics on this boss can be avoided with line-of-sight and out-ranging, except for the Caustic Deluge cast. By running far out of range and surviving just this Tank frontal, Rextroy was able to hit the enrage, which can also be outranged. The enrage only has a duration of 10 minutes, and after a brief AFK session, he could walk back to the boss, at which point the bosses no longer do any mechanics and he can take them down slowly.
