BlizzCon 2026 has officially begun, and Blizzard is covering everything coming up next with Midnight: Eclipse and Season 3.
New Standalone Gamemode
Featuring special new talent systems, abilities, and unique repeatable gameplay, the next game mode, Talebound, is coming out soon. It's a rogue-like action RPG. With new classes, a new story, and new combat systems.
There are currently four zones and bosses to explore through a mysterious figure, the Storyteller. From Naga ruins to venthyr and drust themed areas, these untold stories are replayable and progressive environments that will challenge players to progress.
All new classes can double jump, dodge, and guard.
The Slayer has immense physical damage from guns, swords, bombs, and more.
The Inquisitor is a magicial priest using purifying flames to deal with foes.
The Witch is a shaman/druid class that summons poisonous frogs, spiders, can transform into cat form.
After doing an area, return to the town of Quillgrave to upgrade your talents and stats before returning to the tales of the Storyteller to earn special cosmetics and more.
Patch 12.2: Eclipse
The Mantle Vault
A new zone, the Mantle Vault, an ancient titan machine where the champions will take their final stand against the void and the Devouring Host.
The Denizens of the Mantle Vault
The Crystallized Earthern known as Thraegar in the deep will join us as new allies against the void, as well as the Deepskar, including kobolds and drogbar.
Gearhold new Lair Boss
A new one-boss lair will join in Season 3.

Make your stand against the chaotic enemies of the Mantle Vault
The Worldcore: New 8 Boss Raid
Ending the expansion of Midnight, the Worldcore will pit light vs void in the ultimate fight against Xal'atath. A new questline to obtain a Legendary Caster Dagger, The Midnight's Edge, starts by defeating Xal'atath.

A new reward for the top 5% of players will be added, and the 5% and 1% rewards are calculated based on your Spec, not on all players of all classes and specs.
New Season 3 Delves and Preys
Valeera will continue into Season 3 with a new set of curios and a max level of 100 to accompany you against the new nemesis, Astalor Bloodsworn. After all the anguish he has gotten through our Preys, Astalor can only take so much and has turned against us.
Preys will also get new updates and a new difficulty for the most challenging world content.
Outdoor features
Radiant Screams is a new outdoor content piece featuring new killstreaks and more, inspired by all previous Midnight outdoor content.
New Paladin Races
Darkspear, Night Elves, and Undead can now be paladins!
Housing Showcase
Visit other players' houses in a themed showcase, such as "Spring into Spring!" If players like your house and love your creation, you can earn special rewards. Share your code so others can join your house.
Mannequins and other Housing Updates
Mannequins will allow you to show off your transmog directly in your house on placeable Mannequins!
Copy-paste and multi-select features are coming to the Housing UI
Buy Decor directly from the housing UI while in your home, as long as you already own a given piece of decor
Four new endeavors for Housing in 12.2
Calibration Chamber: Testing Grounds for Groups
The Dummy Dome from PTR is getting an upgrade and will allow groups to test their rotation against new advanced dummies.
PvP updatess
New PVP journey updates are coming for 12.2. No other announcements for PvP were announced.
Transmog Updates
Transmog Gear across all armor types without restriction in patch 12.2!
Wrath of the Lich King Remix
The next Remix event will go over the Wrath of the Lich King coming in the summer.
