Since then, fans have wondered whether we could ever see World of Warcraft return to the big screen, with major fan-favorite stories like the rise and fall of the Lich King serving as perfect candidates for an adaptation. According to Puck News, Xbox is searching for a bulk studio deal with Hollywood for both movies and TV adaptations, which could include World of Warcraft alongside other well-loved IPs like Halo and The Elder Scrolls.
The Minecraft Movie and the Fallout TV series were popular recent adaptations of video games in media, although the recent Halo show was a bit more controversial with some viewers.
