Following today's maintenance, players were expecting to be able to upgrade their Weapons and Trinkets after completing the latest Voidforge quest. However, upon using their Ascendant Voidcore, players encountered an issue that would not allow them to upgrade these items. This issue was caused because the items were crafted prior to Patch 12.0.5. Blizzard has released a Hotfix, which should resolve this issue and allow players to upgrade their Crafted items using their Ascendant Voidcore.

Hello all,
I got my 5 Ascendant Void shards and made my Ascendant Void core, but it will not work on my MAX level Radiant Weapon. When I go to add it and hit accept nothing happens. Perhaps its bugged? anyone have this issue?
About 15 minutes ago, we deployed a hotfix for this to all realms.
The issue was – weapons and trinkets crafted before 12.0.5 were not eligible for Ascendant Voidcore upgrades.
Now they are.
