Experience the Rage of A Most Violent Loa

Beware those would harm children lest you stoke the ire of Filo and his brethren! Brave or depraved enough collectors can slaughter the kapara throughout Zul'Aman to experience the rage of Filo and earn one of the more obscure achievements in Midnight... you monster.

One of several new loa introduced in Midnight, Filo is friend and guardian of the Amani, but hides a terrible dark rage for those who would harm children, represented in the A Most Violent Loa achievement, which requires players to kill 100 neutral capybara throughout Zul'Aman. Eligible Kapara and Kapara Pup can be found throughout most of the zone, aside from the Shrine of Filo itself, which features only friendly targets. A less vengeful version of the loa can also be found here after completing A Quiet Walk Interrupted, relaxing in the pools among its subjects.

Every 25 kills, players will be given an emoted warning for their actions:

Your actions have caused an eye once closed to open...

The eye that watches you now glares...

Rage and darkness swell behind the glare which fixates on you...

With the 100th kill, Filo will spawn, empowered by the Capybara's Vow of Vengeance to bring swift retribution! Players will finally gain the despicable achievement, and very likely experience their own death immediately after.

Oh, the things we do for achievements...

Children have no need to worship, no need to call him. All Amani children earn his protection. The youngest child of every village is his speaker. Filo says nothing, but all understand.

Other loa fear Filo's power. Nothing can kill him, and his rage is insatiable. But he is focused. Placid enough to eat from a child's hand but ruthless enough to kill the most powerful warrior if it suits him.
