Durendil: Renown Solo Hunter
Dedicated to his craft, Durendil has been playing Hunter ever since Vanilla WoW. During WotLK, he decided to try soloing content starting with Burning Crusade heroic dungeons, followed by Molten Core and Karazhan.

With practice and dedication throughout the years, Durendil has accomplished many impressive solos on some of the most difficult bosses, including Tindral Sageswift, Sire Denathrius, and even Queen Ansurek. Many of these kills can be found on his YouTube channel.

Durendil has secured many solo kills on some of the hardest raid bosses throughout the years.

How Dimensius was Defeated Solo
Soloing recent raid and dungeon content can be extremely difficult. You have to learn how to live through heavy damage events, solve full-raid wipe mechanics by yourself, all while pushing as much damage as you can.

For his kill, Durendil defeated Dimensius on a Pack Leader Beast Mastery Hunter. With Dimensius, Phase 1 was the hardest hurdle to clear. To survive Devour solo, Durendil used the Draught of Souls trinket to root himself in place during the Devour cast. Reverse Gravity made for a strict DPS check, as there is no way to survive this mechanic solo.

Once out of Phase 1, the other Phases of this fight were easier to clear solo, largely due to being overgeared in item level. Other tricky parts of this kill are dealing with Fists of the Voidlord during Phase 3. Trying to survive high amounts of damage while making sure you are not accidentally knocked into a Black Hole creates a difficult challenge! Despite it all, Durendil prevailed.

A massive congratulations to Durendil on this impressive feat.
