All Ways to Gear Up in the Midnight Pre-Season
There are already a lot of sources of gear in the Midnight Pre-Season, so here's a breakdown of all the sources and the best ways to gear up.
Renown Quests - Item Level 246
Each Renown faction has a special quest at a Renown Rank that will reward you with a piece of Champion 1/6 gear.

You can get Renown through many methods, but most players will get the majority of their Renown through the zone's side quests and main campaign, or the weekly quests in Silvermoon City.

Non-Seasonal Mythic 0s - Item Level 240
Non-Seasonal Mythic 0s are now open and provide Veteran 3/6 gear at item level 240. These can be done weekly and are a great source of Veteran gear, especially if you get a group of people the same armor type as you!

Midnight Dungeons Overview
Hard Mode Prey - Item Level 233
Hard Mode Prey became available this week. Players need to unlock Hard Mode by being at least Rank 1 on the Preyseeker's Journey, and then completing the questline on Astalor Bloodsworn. Hard Mode Prey awards Veteran 1/6 gear for the first 2 Hard Hunts of the week.
Prey Guide
World Quests - Item Level 230
World Quests don't award fixed item level rewards. They can reward up to Item Level 230 gear (Adventurer 4/6), and most of the time will be in the Item Level 224 to 230 range. Check your map to see if you get lucky with some rewards!
Crafting - Item Level 259 (Warning)
Spark of Radiance are available this week for crafting and baseline will drop up to item level 259 loot making it the highest available. However, we would not recommend crafting at this time as there is the possibility of future tuning to crafted items, with no way to get your sparks back. In addition, one of the most effective uses of your Sparks is a 2-handed weapon (if available for your spec) -- and this will take 4 Sparks -- so you should save your Sparks.

Heroic Dungeons - Item Level 224
Normal Prey - Item Level 220
Rares - Item Level 220 and not guaranteed to be usable.
