Midnight Pre-Patch Event Overview: Twilight Ascension
With the Midnight Pre-Patch event, players have access to Champion track catch-up gear from Armorer Kalinovan. Originally, this gear cost 0 Twilight's Blade Insignia each, but this hotfix reduced the price of gear by 50%, to 0 Twilight's Blade Insignia.
This, coupled with the buff to both native drop rates of this gear, plus increased currency from rares, brings the time to farm a single piece of gear (if you're lucky and get 3 currency each time a rare dies) down to just over an hour, instead of more than two.
Additionally, Blizzard just released an official update blue post documenting the change:
The price of gear on the vendor is being adjusted downwards, from 40 Insignias to 20 Insignias.
