The Twilight Ascension pre-patch event for Midnight begins on January 27th and will last until March 2nd—the official release date for the Midnight expansion. The Twilight's Blade are invading the Twilight Highlands; defeat the ritual leaders and protect the Twilight Highlands!

Starting the Midnight Pre-Patch Event
To gain access to the Midnight pre-patch event, players must first complete the questlines starting withThe Cult Within /The Cult Within. Completing this storyline unlocks the weekly quests for the Twilight Ascension and two rewards: the Twilight's Blade Tabard and the title. This also unlocks Twilight's Blade World Quests in the Twilight Highlands area for your Warband.
Players will defeat Twilight's Blade forces and ritual leaders in this event!
Midnight Pre-Patch Event Currency
Like most pre-patch events, you'll primarily be farming: Rares will spawn around the Twilight Highlands every 10 minutes, and after a short summoning ritual event, defeating the rares will drop rewards and Twilight's Blade Insignia. Once you complete the Weekly and World Quests, this will be the primary way to earn the event's currency, and defeating all of the rares available will earn you an achievement!
The 18 Twilight's Blade Rares spawn in a fixed rotation. This is important for the achievement Two Minutes to Midnight:
Redeye the Skullchewer → T'aavihan the Unbound → Ray of Putrescence → Ix the Bloodfallen → Commander Ix'vaarha → Sharfadi, Bulwark of the Night
→ Ez'Haadosh the Liminality → Berg the Spellfist → Corla, Herald of Twilight → Void Zealot Devinda → Asira Dawnslayer → Archbishop Benedictus
→ Nedrand the Eyegorger → Executioner Lynthelma → Gustavan, Herald of the End → Voidclaw Hexathor → Mirrorvise → Saligrum the Observer
Players looking to farm every reward and appearance from the pre-patch event will need a whopping 5 Twilight's Blade Insignia if they're unlucky - but don't worry, some rewards drop from the rares as well. For a full list of what can be found where, be sure to check out our event guide.
